Sweat & Reflect
Sweat & Reflect is a podcast designed for the woman who has realized that there is purpose in her pain & that she has a voice worth using. Honestly, she's kind of sick of checking off the proverbial boxes that society expects of her (think marriage, baby & house all by 35). She is focused on finding her voice through real discussions of addiction, wellness, loss, grief, and joy. Most importantly, Sweat & Reflect will help her realize that even when life is painful, life is happening FOR her, not to her.

hi friend!
welcome back & happy august!
on today's episode we're talking body love, body image & the beautiful lessons the olympic games have taught me - & maybe you - about loving our bodies no matter the size, shape, makeup, whatever.
this reminder has been critical as i approach the last few days before the wedding. i've been picking apart my body; chastising myself for not working out harder or eating better because i'm not going to look "that way" on my wedding day. yes, i know that's crazzyyyyyy but it's also real life.
luckily, the olympics came at the perfect time & the badass women competing in all different specialties reminded me that our bodies are not only gifts, but shouldn't look the same. one athlete in particular, ilona maher, posted several videos about how freaking strong & beautiful she is despite internet trolls trying to tear her down.
while i hate that this happened to her, i am so grateful that she used her platform to remind us all that there is no "one size fits all." we're all beautiful & strong women & damn, that was a powerful reminder.
