thank you so much for being here! happy september! before we go any further, please note that today's episode deals with domestic violence, mentions of addiction & suicide awareness/prevention month. neither of us are psychologists, trauma specialists, or doctors so please keep that in mind as we discuss these difficult topics.

the purpose of this episode is to open up the discussion on domestic violence - how we can support those leaving their abusive partnerships, those asking for help, reframing the conversation away from - 'why didn't she leave?' to 'why do men harm?' ryan & i speak about justin baldoni - the director of the movie - & his interviews about domestic violence & how the movie is opening up this conversation.
